No love for IPPT

I just finished this year’s IPPT test and I should thank God for seeing me through yet another year. The test was held during my ongoing incamp training and I was worried about a stretched hamstring and strained right ankle sustained from last week’s virgin snow ski experience.

Well, I didn’t have to worry about those two medical issues [....]

Some Feb Thoughts

I spend so much time posting pictures, downloads or rants here, I sometimes forget this site is meant to be a personal homepage to store my “normal” sentiments! So here goes.

ON FATHERHOOD

I really feel like a father these days, because I come home every day and ask my son the same thing – “So what did you learn in [....]

A decade in review – Part 1

I had to replace my living room’s AV receiver recently when the Onkyo 696 died from old age (about 8 years old). As I shopped for a new receiver, it dawned upon me how much technology had changed in the past decade.

For example, my new Onkyo TR807 receiver (above) has new features that weren’t heard of, or even [....]

I’m really proud to be with a team that managed to [....]

All of you must be thinking I’ve gone bonkers right?

The Facts

Mee Pok is Singapore’s foremost in culinary achievement. The penultimate in cookery skills. Fast to cook, good to eat. Oooooh. Can you smell it?

Some recent ramblings on Facebook

Here are some daily thoughts I’ve posted on Facebook recently, for those interested to know what’s been going on in my mind since I haven’t been updating this blog as regularly as I should have.

Ian Tan shakes his fist at the morning thunderstorm that thwarted his morning run. I smell a conspiracy here to keep me fat.

Ian Tan is [....]

Mockups of Ah Beng car decals

If you aren’t on Facebook, you haven’t been seeing the Photoshop mockups I’ve been doing of possible decals on my new black Altis. Most of my FB friends think I’m crazy, but hey, am just having fun with vectors and pixels.

A lot of car drivers out there go slap decals on their car without doing a visual trial, and [....]
